About the Wine:
Untold Story Shiraz offers a rich and approachable flavour profile, with ripe blackberry and juicy plum notes taking centre stage. Subtle hints of dark cherry and spice add depth, while gentle peppery characters bring a savoury edge. Smooth tannins provide structure without overpowering the fruit, leading to a rounded, satisfying finish. A touch of oak contributes warmth and complexity, complementing the wine’s generous fruit flavours. Enjoyable on its own, this Shiraz also pairs beautifully with hearty dishes, grilled meats, rich pasta and a selection of cheeses. Its balanced character makes it an easy choice for relaxed dinners, weekend gatherings and festive occasions.
The Snacks Work Perfectly with Wine Because…
The snacks in this hamper make a great match for Untold Story Shiraz, bringing a mix of sweet, savoury and salty flavours to the glass. Cracked Black Pepper Crackerthins and Saltbush & Cranberry Artisan Crackers complement the Shiraz’s rich fruit and subtle spice, while Australian Quince Paste adds a sweet contrast that helps balance the wine’s bold character.
Knots & Nuts Milk Chocolate Peanuts bring creamy chocolate and roasted nuttiness, offering an indulgent partner for the wine’s ripe fruit flavours. Classic Baked Pretzels and Kettle Honey Soy Chicken Chips add salty, savoury notes that work nicely alongside the Shiraz’s smooth tannins. Mount Zero Olives with Lemon & Thyme introduce a bright herbal touch, adding another layer to the tasting experience.
Together, these snacks create plenty of flavour contrasts and complements, making the Shiraz easy to enjoy throughout a relaxed grazing session, festive gathering or casual get-together.
