About Deakin Estate Pinot Noir 2022
Deakin Estate Pinot Noir is a smooth, approachable Australian red with flavours of cherry and raspberry, supported by subtle earthy notes and soft tannins. Its fruit-forward character and gentle structure make it an easy wine to enjoy during festive gatherings, whether served with the included snacks or alongside a Christmas meal.
Pinot Noir is generally lighter than fuller-bodied reds such as Shiraz or Cabernet Sauvignon, making this hamper a versatile option for recipients who appreciate elegant, uncomplicated wines.
Why These Treats Work With Pinot Noir
- Beer nuts provide a salty crunch that contrasts with the wine’s soft berry flavours.
- Rocky Road bites introduce chocolate, marshmallow and biscuit notes for a rich, indulgent pairing.
- Light and tangy salsa snaps add crisp texture and a lively savoury flavour without overpowering the wine.
- Saucy BBQ popcorn contributes gentle smoke and seasoning that complements the Pinot Noir’s subtle earthy character.
Who It’s For
This Pinot Noir gift works especially well as:
- A Christmas present for a red wine lover
- A thoughtful thank-you for a colleague, client or host
- A festive surprise for friends or family
- A relaxed gift for someone who enjoys wine and savoury snacks
- A shareable treat for Christmas gatherings or summer evenings
